The meeting theme is "Healthy Meat: Varms Antibiotic Vaccine ", focusing on phage application R&D of phage product in anti-reduction work.

At this meeting , China Agricultural University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dalian University of Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, South China Agricultural University, Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Chinese Antibacterial Sensitivity Test Committee, Southwest University, Qingdao Agricultural University, Ocean University of China, Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Recom Bioengineering Co., Ltd., Shandong Huahong Bioengineering Co., Ltd., Lester University, Denmark University of Science and Technology, Copenhagen University of Denmark, Polish Academy of Sciences, etc. Farm, veterinary drug resistance monitoring network (Varms),totaling to more than 100 leading aquaculture enterprises and more than 200 hospital testing department leaders, experts and more than 200 people gathered together to explore the advanced science and technology of AMR-antiobiotics substitute and reduction . To implement the National Action Plan to contain bacterial resistance from animal sources (2017-2020), and to implement the pilot work of reducing the use of veterinary antimicrobial agents.
As a platform for research and application of bacteriophages, Recom will integrate advanced biotechnology domestically and abroad, and will continue to devote itself to the research and development of bacteriophages, which will be used in animal protection, plant protection, aquatic products, food and other industries to improve the efficacy of antibiotics, reduce the resistance of bacteria to antibiotics, and build up the research and development of bacteriophages to international leading brand.
At the same time, the Assembly noted that problems such as drug resistance, environmental pollution and food safety caused by the abuse of antibiotics in animal husbandry had become extremely serious and urgent to be solved. Under the new era background, the research and development of "non-resistance products"and the promotion of animal husbandry "AMR/resistance" are the problems that Chinese agricultural and animal husbandry enterprises must pay attention to and solve at present.
For the purpose of promoting AMR and food safety, promoting phage research and application, system technology optimization and rapid industrial integration, a hundred alliance ceremonies were held in the same period of "AMR and anti-degradation" phage technology industry.
At the meeting, Professor Martha Clokie of Leicester University presented the past and present prospects of phage therapy from a global perspective. Dr. Liu presented the development of ecological model underAMR-reduction and AMR substitute. Controlling food quality from breeding sources was the only feasible way. Quality and quantity safety is the trend and direction of industry development.
Experts in various fields domestic and abroad introduced the latest progress in phage pharmacology, immunology, molecular biology, genomics, clinical treatment, administration and so on. the participants asked questions from their own breeding needs, and exchanged enthusiastically with experts to have further understanding of the application of bacteriophages.
